Daily Photography in the Desert

As a bit of stress relief, excuse to get some exercise, and to work on my photography, I've been forcing myself to take a picture every day for the last week, and will continue this tradition. I'm posting the pictures at my album here. It's been an interesting adventure, and especially last night, I decided I just couldn't decide which picture to use. So, I'm going to post all of the pictures that would have made it, if I had used it another day. So, here's my "Almost Daylies". Oh, if you want quicker updates, follow @pearsonartphoto on twitter.

Oh, and if you like these pictures, please click on the picture, bring your mouse over the picture on the right and give it a thumbs up. Thanks!

More Birds

Birds are a very hard creature to photograph. They can move very quickly, and are generally pretty startled. The lens of choice to photograph birds is a 400mm+, I only have a zoom lens with up to 135 (Times 1.6 for a crop, but still...) Still, I did try again, powered once again by whatbird.com, and I found a few more little guys. I hope I did them some justice... This whole exercise has taught me to be more more attentive to the beauty that surrounds us each and every day. Hope you enjoy!

Bird Identification

I've occasionally taken pictures of birds around southern Arizona, and have had a desire to identify them. With some help from Whatbird.com, I've been able to identify 3 of them, which I've included pictures below. Hopefully I'll be able to add to my bird collection, especially when I get a better lens for it (My max focal length is currently 135mm, so...) Clicking on the photo will allow for you to see a fuller description.
