Tripod Buying

I recently bought a new tripod and head, and thought I'd give a general review, as well as show some of what I've used the tripod for.

The new tripod is the Manfrotto 190XPPROB, the head is the Manfrotto 496RC2 ball head. So far, I'm impressed. It's amazing the difference between my old panning tripod and a ball head, it really lets me get the tripod just as I want it. I've used in several times, and not had any problems. Also, I'm really liking the legs, I'm able to maneuver them as I need, and it's nice to know that when I get the Canon 100mm Macro lens of my dreams, I'll be able to use this tripod to easily position it to take a picture of something on the ground.
