Ever since I lived in Kansas when I was young, I've been fascinated with the beauty of strikes of lightning. I had another opportunity to take some lightning pictures tonight, and I hope you enjoy!
The Nebeker Family recently took advantage of one of my free photo sessions I occasionally message about on Twitter among other places, and the pictures turned out beautiful. These pictures were taken at Gate's Pass, Tucson, Arizona. Here's some of my favorites.
I've been hiking in the Sabino Canyon every other week, as a means of training for a larger hike, to the top of Mount Wrightson, located in Southern Arizona. I've been gradually doing more interesting things, and yesterday took me on the Esperero Trail to a saddle point a few miles in, to an area called "Cardiac Gap" by Betty Leavengood. It was a climb of 1650 feet roughly to that point. It's an amazing view, I highly recommend it. Here are a few pictures from the hike, I hope you enjoy!
